Biographical history
Margaret Neville Catt was born on 4 August 1924 at Wandal, Rockhamption. She married Ivor Morris Bridson Cribb on 12 April 1947. She lectured in Australian Government and Labour relations in the University of Queensland, Department of Government. She served on a multitude of University of Queensland committees. She retired in 1987. In 1992 she was appointed AM for services to education and women's affairs. She died on 12 August 1993 at Auchenflower. In 1994 the University of Queensland's child-care centre was named in her honour, and in 1995 established the annual Margaret Cribb memorial prize.
