Biographical history
Patricia Pamela Gorring (better known as Pam Gorring) was born on 15 February 1930. She completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours at the University of Queensland in 1978. During the late 1970s, she co-founded Women's Radio with Valerie (Val) French (1927-2020) and a board of volunteers. She was a member of the Women's Electoral Lobby, Brisbane. She became a mental health advocate and pharmacist, at one point running the Pam Gorring Day & Night Pharmacy in Kallangur. She died on 26 June 1992.
