Name of creator
The Amalgamated Society of Carpenters and Joiners of Australia formed in 1911. Near the end of World War Two, the AS of C & J became the Building Workers' Industrial Union of Australia. The BWIU was deregistered in 1948. The Building Workers' Industrial Union was formed again in 1962.
