University Conscription Committee (1968-1969). Also known as Labor Club Conscription Committee.
Objectives - To oppose conscription and to assist people disobeying national service laws. Demands included a referendum on conscription, repeal of the National Service Act and liberalisation of the Crimes Act.

Note: This committee was mainly campus based and consisted of members of the University of Queensland Labor Club, Liberal Club and the Society for Democratic Action. In April 1969 the Committee ran a Draft Resistance Centre offering advice on non-registration, failing medicals, conscientious objection etc.
