Album of 120 black and white photographs aranged chronologically.
Photographs show the Duke of Gloucester conducting official duties during his visit to Queensland in 1934. Places featured include: Wallangarra, Stanthorpe, Warwick, Clifton, Toowoomba, Gatton (including Agricultural College), Laidley, Rosewood, Ipswich, central Brisbane, Cleveland, Wynnum, R.N.A. Exhibition Grounds, University of Queensland, Bowen Park (Brisbane), Rosemount Repatriation Hospital, Archerfield Aerodrome, Dalgety's Wharf, and H.M.A.S. Australia on the Brisbane River. Photographs of Archerfield Aerodrome show the Duke dispatching the first airmail of the Australia-Great Britain Service.
Photographs are (10 x 14.5 cm and larger) mounted on boards with handwritten captions. Album bound in red leather. Cover title.

Album of 15 black and white photographs (various sizes, mounted on boards). Photographic reproduction with number and caption inscribed at foot of photographs. On cover in gold tooling: H.S. Warde Xmas 1908. Harvey Standish Warde (1873-1918) was Mining Inspector for the Central Division in 1908.

Album of sepia photographs by Thomas Foster Chuck. Album has a captioned page for each scene of Melbourne but only six photographs are in this album. These photographs are: Post Office Melbourne (Chuck photo 33), The Treasury (Chuck photo 19), University Melbourne (Chuck photo 59), Public Library (Chuck photo 54), Bourke St (looking east) (Chuck photo 35), and one uinidentified scene of a river.

Album of twelve sepia photographs of views of North Queensland including Cairns, Herberton, Barron George, Barron Falls, Hambledon and railways in the area. Title handwritten inside album. Album is undated. A handwritten list of captions and supplied item numbers has been inserted prior to the title page. Most photographs appear to be around the construction of the railway to Herberton which began in Cairns in 1886. It finished in Ravenshoe in 1916.

Written on the inside cover the album, presumably by the seller: "In. [Inventory] 5033. Royal Qto. Oblong Purple toned. 10 [shillings]". These type of photographs were often taken by the Queensland Government.

Some have additional pencilled captions on boards. On cover: Scraps. One photograph has initials J.V which is attributed to James Valentine (1815-1879)

Album contains approx 340 photographs showing Stodart family and scenes from their 'grand tour' of Europe, possibly on the ship Buteshire, together with cuttings from souvenir publications. Places visited include Queensland coast, Thursday Island, Colombo, Port Said and Suez Canal, Malta, Sicily, Naples, Pompei, Rome, Florence, Venice, Austria, Dresden, Potsdam, Berlin, Koln, Rhine, Brussels, Paris, Versailles, Switzerland, Oxford, Stratford on Avon, Durham, London, Warwick, Wye Valley, Scotland, Ireland, Brittany and Norway. Captions mention Dr Brown, 4th Officer "Curly", Captain Wheatman, Mr Phillips, Adelaide, Misses McIllwraith Taylor, Mr McKinlay snr and jnr, Miss McPherson Bonmahon and Mrs Hughes.

Album contains 104 photographs of Stodart family, Melbourne, Egypt, Batavia, no. 3 S.M. Coy Corps of Australian Engineers, Brisbane during the 1898 flood, Enoggera Creek and the early operations of Enoggera Reservoir, federation celebrations in Sydney, Lord Houptoun, federation proclamation in Brisbane, and the visit of the Duke of Cornwall and York to Brisbane.

Bound album of black and white photographs. Appears to be a record of Appel's voyage while Home Secretary in the Queensland Government Steamer "Otter" in 1914 which went as far north as Daru on the coast of south-western Papua.
