Arthur Peterson, also known as Naminamee, was a cultural teacher. He contributed to David Trigger's anthropological research conducted in Doomadgee and various other locations around the Gulf Country region during the late 1970s. He died on 29 June 1992 and was buried in Mount Isa, Queensland.
