History

Mrs Arthur Henry Outridge was born Margaret Noble, second daughter of Emma Roper and William Noble, who was manager and part-owner of Durundur Station. She lived with her husband, a schoolteacher and principal, in the Stanthorpe district for several years, and it was here that she was presented with the scrapbook by the students of the Sugar Loaf School. She then moved with her family to Brisbane, where her husband was the principal of Nundah State School and then New Farm State School.
