History

Arthur Edward Moore entered Queensland State Parliament in 1915, and held the Assembly seat of Aubigny until his retirement. He became leader of the Country and Progressive National Party, formed in 1925, and Opposition Leader. He was Premier of Queensland from 1929 to 1932. In 1932 be became Opposition Leader again, and in 1935 the Country and Progressive National Party disintegrated. He retired from Parliament in 1941.
