Medical Association for Prevention of War (1981-).
Objectives - To formulate medical ethics in relation to war, to inform health workers and the public about the medical consequences of nuclear, chemical and biological war, to examine the psychology of acceptance of war, to convert military spending to uses which promote the welfare of humanity, to oppose the use of medical science for any purpose other than the prevention and relief of suffering, to cooperate internationally for these ends.
