History

Phillip Mann was a New South Wales-born playwright, who served in the Royal Australian Navy during the Second World War and subsequently moved to London in 1954 became well-known for his stage and screen work there. He joined the ABC as a Television Drama Editor after returning to Syndey in 1961. He died in 1990.
