History
As part of the Queensland network of regional galleries, the Logan Art Gallery shows a mix of touring exhibitions, local artists' work, visiting artists and permanent collections. Historically, the Logan Art Collection arose out of the Logan Art Award which commenced in 1988 and continued for ten years. This award attracted significant works of art and played and facilitated high quality contemporary artworks to be selected for acquisition in the development of the Logan Art Collection.
