It summarises the reaction of the Gurindji people, including Vincent Lingiari, after George Gibbs broke the news to the community. Also mentions Mick Rangiari, Vestey Brothers, Limbunya Station, Wave Hill, and the Wailbri people. Ends with a call for support to protest the decision.

The hearings were conducted in the bush at Nudjabarra/Najabarra, Northern Territory, about half a kilometre from the Queensland border. The photographs were taken by David Trigger and Robert Blowes.

Papers relating to the Relics Advisory Committee within the Queensland Ministry for Aboriginal and Island Affairs and later within the Archaeology Branch of the Department of Aboriginal and Islanders Advancement.
