Includes correspondence, drafts, page proofs and other material relating to Thorley's publications Successful breastfeeding (1974) and Feeding baby & child : a guide for Australian parents (1992), the latter of which was originally published under the title Feeding your baby and young child in Australia. Also includes material relating to Thorley's involvement with Queensland Lactation Consultants, Nursing Mothers' Association of Australia (now the Australian Breastfeeding Association), Queensland Lactation College and other organisations. A limited amount of early material relates to Thorley's research on and correspondence with Martin Haley.
