Labour Action Group (LAG) (1971-1972). Became the (Communist League).
Objectives - To develop a Leninist party ; to take revolutionary politics to the working class and to publish a newsletter.
Publicists - Greg Adler, Terry Cook, John McCarthy, Sue McCarthy, Bomber Perrier, Mal Price, Larry Zetlin, Diane Zetlin.
Notes: A faction developed within LAG which eventually split and formed the Socialist Labour League. In 1971 LAG joined with the Sydney based Trotskyite group the Socialist Review Group to form the Socialist Workers' League. However, the LAG section left again in 1972 and formed the Communist League.
