History
Charles Jenkinson was a North Queensland identity, well known for his travels and adventures in the tropical North and Papua New Guinea in the early decades of the 20th century. He died in 1944, leaving an unpublished manuscript containing stories of his exploits. The manuscript remained in the possession of the Jenkinson family and was published by Charles' son Graham in 2006.
