History
Jackson Jacob, also known as Thungalkunyaldin, thought to be born in 1948 (though at least one source lists his birth year as 1940), was a member of the Lardil people of Mornington Island. His mother and father were called Lettie and Jacko. Jackson's wife was Enid Jacob (née Gavenor). He contributed to the research conducted by Paul Memmott and the Aboriginal Environments Research Centre in various locations around the Gulf Country region during the 1970s. He died on 7 December 1979.
