This series contains the drawings for many large public and private buildings as well as a broad selection of significant and representative smaller buildings and houses. Included are, for example, the drawings for several hospital buildings in Queensland, including the Royal Brisbane Hospital, the Princess Alexandra Hospital, the Prince Charles Hospital (formerly the Chermside T.B. Sanatorium) and the Southport Hospital. Among the school buildings represented are the Church of England Grammar School (Churchie), St. Hilda's Girls School, Somerville House and The Southport School. There are drawings for a number of University of Queensland Colleges and a large number of Brisbane and country town fire stations. Other larger buildings and complexes represented are the State Government Insurance Office (SGIO) building in Brisbane as well as the Queensland Club and the Queensland Turf Club. Among the smaller buildings represented are several wool stores and other industrial buildings in the inner-city suburbs, hotels and retail shops. There are also the drawings for a small number of residential houses.
