Hardback book containing newspaper cuttings relating to Supreme Court matters and gold in North Queensland. Pages up to 162 have been paginated on the upper corner in red pen. There are many annotations throughout. Some cuttings are loose.

Large diary labelled on cover 'Collins Scribbling Diary No. 42a 1917' used as scrapbook compiled by Nancy Armitage and Alexander Macdonald to memorialise James Macdonald. Contains pasted in correspondence, newspaper cuttings, photographs, bag tags, luggage stamps, handwritten copies of poetry and maps of Ypres. The back pages contain newspaper cuttings of obituaries of relatives of Nancy Armitage.
