The letter was originally with the author's presentation copy of his book entitled 'Freedom and independence for the golden lands of Australia' to Rev. A.C. Geikie.
In the letter the author explains his feelings on the question of the colonies, and requests opinion on his work etc.

Platform and program : January 1972

Outlines the platform and program of the Black Panther Party Australia with 10 points. Includes calls for: freedom; full employment; decent housing; education; exemption of all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from military service; an end to police oppression and introduction of community policing; revised procedures for trials; a United Nations supervised plebiscite so that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples can determine their own destiny.

Two copies: Copy number one has had four words crossed out in section 8.
