Correspondence, reports and diaries for the University of Queensland Bushwalking Club (UQBWC). There are thirteen Annual reports, including the the first annual report from 1950 which records the formation of the club. There are documents, correspondence, and reports relating to the Mt Barney Hut that the Club constructed as well as field trip notes (mostly from trips at Mt Barney). Two diaries of outings and activies for 1994 and 1995 are present. Three folders contain content relating to clubs which shared members with the UQBWC: the University of Queensland Rockclimbers Club, the Brisbane Bushwalkers Club and the Brisbane Rockclimbing Club. There is a photograph album of activities of the club from the 1950s, comprising 147 black and white photographs, some yellowing with age, and 4 colour photographs. Most photographs have been pasted onto the pages, with captions.

Photograph numbers have been assigned by the processing archivist, as have the page numbers. There are some photographs that have a title for the event and this is in italics, grouped by image numbers. There are eight loose photographs, inserted at the end of the album.
