Nine pencil or ink line drawings on tracing paper. From the Title Block: The Heather Thiedeke Group, architects and planners. Client: Catholic Parish, Surfers Paradise. Brief: Master plan, design and documentation. The environmentally sensitive school master plan (not common on the Gold Coast at the time) received a civic design and architectural awards for the sustainable qualities. Almost every tree on the site was preserved. Includes: schematic designs and working drawings for Stage 4 and Stage 5; 1982 to 1985.

This file comprises two sets of plans for the residence at [2] Mayland Avenue, Carrara, Gold Coast. The residence was originally for clients Mr. and Mrs K Breen. Project no. 8111.89. The architects, from the title block were the Davis Heather Group. The brief: Design, documents for construction; formal facade to the street, informal to the river, classical interior. All internal rooms are accessed from a semicircular atrium / courtyard, which opens to the rear garden, tennis court and jetty through large sliding doors. There are 28 working drawings, four preliminary sketch plans and five design development drawings. All are dated 1981.

Michael Edgley bought the house from the Breens and there are three sketches for an extension to the house, dated 1985. The house was sold to an art union and bought by a reired developer.

Won a design award 1986.

Client: Col and Virginia Taylor. Location was at Pelican Point, Terranora. Brief: Design, documentation and construction of a three bed, twp bath hillside sanctuary overlooking Pelican Point in Terranora Inlet; the architecture was to evoke a sculptural quality. The site was an old state cattle dip, the form of which partially inspired the architecture. It was the only house on the east side of the road up from Tweed Heads. The roof profile was inspired by the shape of a pelican's wing. The form maximised the panoramic views from every room. It won two awards, which included a design award in 1984.

Four resort concepts at the Gold Coasts to test market responses. The concepts were to be located at: 1. Old Burleigh Road 'A' (1979); 2. Old Burleigh Road 'B' (1979); 3. Hollywell; and 4. Paradise Waters.

Five architectural drawings (ink line drawings on paper). Title Block has architects as Conrad, Gargett and Partners. Thiedeke drew these drawings while working for Conrad, Gargett and Partners. Client: Tasmanian Government. Brief: Design and documentation of Tasmanian Government Tourist Bureau at 217 Queen Street, Brisbane. The concept was an open plan, open levels, pleasant working environment. It pioneered fire approval of open vertical connectivity between floors by using automatic smoke vents in the roof. It was regarded by some as the first 'post modern' building in Queensland. It was demolished in the 1990s as part of the Tattersal's expansion. Drawings numbers are: 14, 11, 12, 15 and 17.
