Astral journey

A warning to wantons, is a radio play in three acts, by Dorothy Blewett from the novel of the same name by Mary Mitchell. Mitchell's book was published in 1934. It is unknown when Dorothy Blewett adapted this play, possibly from the 1940s or 1950s. There are two carbon copies of Act 1 and one complete version of this play: Carbon copy typescript, with typescript title cover, 37 leaves (separately numbered for each act), undated.

The second has 19 numbered leaves, no cover page, handwritten emendations in pencil, is undated, and on the back of the pages are peoples name and billing details. Based on when most of her short stories were published, they could have been written in the 1930s.

Two typescript versions of the short story 'The sign' by Dorothy Blewett. One has 12 numbered leaves, the other 13 numbered leaves with the cover page saying it is by 'Albert Park'. Based on when most of her short stories were published, they could have been written in the 1930s.

Solitary holiday

Two typescript versions of the short story 'Solitary holiday'. Both have 24 numbered leaves and are undated. On the cover page of the original typescript version it says 'by Julie Millard' with name and London address of Dorothy Blewett in the bottom left-hand corner. Unsure if Julie Millard was someone Blewett represented as a literary agent or if it is another pseudonym. Blewett lived in London in the 1950s.

Typescript, carbon copy, of the short story The girl came to our school, 7 numbered leaves, undated. On the cover page the name 'Mary Burch' has been crossed out and 'Dorothy Blewett' written; handwritten on the cover page is the address of Cooks World Travel Service in Melbourne.
