In 1936 the Presbyterian Church of Queensland commissioned Norman F Nelson to visit four Aboriginal mission stations administered by the Church in North Queensland (Mornington Island, Aurukun, Weipa and Mapoon) in order to make an inspection and evaluation of work and properties. He also visited Thursday Island. He was accompanied by J T Robinson. An exhibition organised by Norman F Nelson of the photographs taken on the trip was held at City Hall, Brisbane in 1937. This collection is comprised of two photograph albums. There are 1029 photographs (black and white, 6 x 6 cm) split over two parts (or albums). The original album with its captioning was retained (in Box 1); the photograph captions were transposed exactly into the new albums, and these captions are used as the titles for each photographs. Throughout the albums are typescript reports of trips to mission stations, original sketch plans of each mission drawn by J T Robinson and Norman F Nelson, which are found in Series B. Norman Francis Nelson was the main person to photograph the people and mission facilities.

Two hundred and fifty two photographs (mostly black and white photographs), and eighteen real photo postcards. These photographic images are mostly taken Papua New Guinea, mainly depicting Bulolo gold fields. Many of the photographs have been taken by Wally Doe or feature him (and his wife Billie). Handwritten identifying notes on the back of most photographs; some of these notes are by John Murphy.

Accompanied by one album, 14 x 20 cm, with 23 black and white photographs with a typescript note pasted to the front cover with information about what became of the dredges during the Second World War. These photographs have been attached to the pages using photo corners; it appears some may have been removed or lost at some time.

Features footage from a public meeting organised by the Women's Abortion Campaign, held 30 April 1992, titled 'The abortion pill and abortion law repeal: what are the implications form Queensland women?'. The meeting is chaired by Anna McCormack, who provides an overview of WAC and a brief history of the group before introducing the speakers. The first speaker, Unna Liddy, representing WAC, speaks on the impact of Queensland abortion laws on women's rights. The second speaker, Helen Kerr, presents a case in favour of the RU486 pill. The third speaker, Renate Klein, presents a case against RU486 as an alternative to more conventional forms of abortion. The final speaker, Jocelynn Scutt, speaks on abortion law repeal and women's abortion rights within a legal context. The meeting ends with Anna McCormack announcing upcoming WAC events, then a Q & A session.

Film is titled 'In the beginning: with Harry Oakman, Parks Manager 1947 - 1963' and features an interview of Harry Oakman by Jeannie Sim, recorded in 2000 as part of a production by the Brisbane City Council Parks Department on the curators and landscape designers of Brisbane parks and gardens. The interview is split into three parts: 'Parks in the 1940s', 'Oakman design philosophy', and 'Recognised design examples'. Harry also discusses his favourite park, Newfarm Park. The tape relates to correspondence in Folder 1 between the Brisbane City Council and Malcolm Bunzli, dated 30 May 2000.
