This file contains letters to Kath Walker from school children, teachers and university students. Some letters by Kath Walker to school children and teachers are included. Many are letters from children thanking her for visiting their school and sharing her stories. Correspondents are teachers and students from various schools including: Presbyterian Ladies College (Orange, N.S.W.), Saint Mary's School (Broome?), Kindergarten Teachers' College (Kelvin Grove, Qld.), Sommerville House (South Brisbane, Qld.), Melbourne Church of England Girls' Grammar School (South Yarra, Vic.), Chermside State Primary School (Chermside, Qld.), Villanova College (Coorparoo, Qld.), Ipswich State High School (Ipswich, Qld.), Maroochydore State High School (Maroochydore, Qld.), and Saint Francis Xavier School (Goodna, Qld.).

This file includes correspondence from Queensland and New South Wales government departments although the bulk of the letters are from Federal Government departments, in particular the Department of Aboriginal Affairs.

Newspaper cuttings about early Dunwich on Stradbroke Island. Most of the newspaper cuttings feature Kath Walker's statements/photographs of her lobbying for improvements regarding human and civil rights for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in education, housing, welfare, recognition and self-determination. Some newspaper cuttings about Moongalba and Kath's struggle to establish Moongalba and keep it going.
