Thirty-two black and white photographs, on a CD-ROM, of a demonstration on 10 May 1985 against the awarding of an honorary doctorate of Laws to Queensland Premier Johannes Bjelke-Petersen. Up to 5000 UQ students, UQ staff, trade unionists and other outraged citizens attended the protest outside Mayne Hall, St Lucia, where the award ceremony was to take place. Although the ceremony proceeded, the Premier did not attend.

On 10 May 1985 the University of Queensland awarded an honorary Doctorate of Laws to Queensland Premier Johannes Bjelke-Petersen. Up to 5000 UQ students, UQ staff, trade unionists and other outraged citizens attended the protest outside Mayne Hall, St Lucia, where the award ceremony was to take place. Although the ceremony proceeded, the Premier did not attend.
