Nine typescripts, with handwritten notes, of transcripts for people from Thursday Island. Includes a list of names with the heading 'Faces & Voices from Thursday Island' (eight of the names have transcripts) and an envelope addressed to Carey with the date stamp of 18 May 1971.

The Forest by David Byrne and related correspondence

Correspondence requesting Peter Carey consider working on the film production of The forest which was conceived by Robert Wilson and David Byrne with a spiral bound copy of the treatment for film. Originally in envelope (now discarded) with handwritten note on front: 'A treatment for a film based on the epic Gilgamesh titled 'The Forest' by David Byrne. Part of the same process (with Robert Wilson) that resulted in the production of The Forest at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, NY in 1988.' Also contains preservation copies of faxes on heat sensitive paper.
