Early works, 1923 to 1925

26 photographic works: Male life study ca. 1923 (10 photographs, 7 negatives. One photograph includes Students head with Male life study); Return of the Prodigal Son ca. 1923; Portrait bust of a Young Man ca. 1922-23; Portrait of Freddie Whitehouse 1925 (2 negatives, 2 prints).

Sketch pads and exercise books relating to her artistic work

1 album with slots for art reproduction prints (some have prints inserted) and notes, 22 x 28 cm. 14 sketch, note or memo books with writings, notes relating to her art; sketches; glaze recipes; colour. Most sketch books have not been fully used. Three have names of towns written on the cover and associated sketches: Bolonga/Venice ; Assisi; and Siena. One notebook has notes on motifs and newspaper cuttings inserted at the end. Another notes on dynamic symetry. Another, lined notebook, has notes on State Schools free education and at the other end of the notebook a list of letters to write and bills to pay for Jan 1956. Some have scales for sculptures such as 'Little black baby', 'S. Paterson', and 'Prof. Waterhouse'.

Lesson evaluations

Foolscap notebook printed with lesson evalution checklists. Lesson information has been handwritten in pencil for most of the volume. Dates a few pages are: 15 Aug 1923 and 21 May 1924.
