Also includes files relating to Olympic Games in Melbourne, 1956.

Typescript drafts of The Copper Crucible (1963 draft, and 1994 drafts revised by Ian Syson); newspaper cuttings and copies of Women's Realm containing articles and stories by Betty Collins; 2 poems (typescript) by Betty Collins. The Copper Crucible was originally published in 1966. Not all of the 1963 draft for the novel was used in this publication. In 1996, a new edition revised by Ian Syson was published. This new edition restores the 1963 draft, and also incorporates some passages from the 1966 version.

Papers include some records of Twelfth Night Theatre Company. Administration records, financial records, company reports and working papers; arts funding applications and appraisals of company. Marketing records include advertisement mock-ups, brochures, posters and newspaper cuttings of advertisements and reviews. Records of plays produced include playscripts, production notes, musical scores, a rehearsal tape and miscellaneous photographs of productions and actors. Files also include papers relevant to the company's history and censorship, especially the 1969 production of Alexander Buzo's play Norm and Ahmed. Also included are stage designs, lighting plans, architectural plans and posters.

Papers include Queensland AIDS Council Board documents, minutes of meetings, correspondence etc; HIV related journals, National AIDS bulletins, HIV Herald. World Health Organisation (WHO) Global Programme on AIDS (GPA) reports. Australian HIV surveillance reports; papers of international AIDS conferences, Australian and regional HIV conferences; Australian national reports, other reports/documents and miscellaneous material and safe sex educational materials.

Papers primarily concern Russian-Australian relations, 1803-1946, and cover initial Russian contacts with Australian colonists in the nineteeenth century, consular/diplomatic relations, involvement of Russian political radicals in Queensland politics before and after World War 1, formation of the Communist Party of Australia, and Russian immigration to Australia. Includes copies of official documents from Russian, Finnish, British and Australian archives; journal articles, early Russian-language newspapers, memoirs, travel accounts, private correspondence, drafts of published works, photographs. Documents are in Russian and English.

Thirteen diaries covering the years 1934-1945 and 1954, as well as photographs, newspaper and manuscript articles about the Elsey Station in the Northern Territory. Included is a photocopy of an article by Ernestine Hill entitled They of the Never Never. The photographs cover the years 1907-1946 and show the Giles family and staff, the engraved Banyan tree, Duke and Duchess of Gloucester's visit in 1946, and Aboriginal families living on the station. Also included is a Giles family tree and family correspondence.
