This collection contains published and unpublished manuscript and typescript drafts of poems and some prose pieces by John Blight, correspondence with individuals including Thomas Shapcott, Judith Wright, Bruce Beaver and Barbara Giles, and organisations, newspapers and literary societies. Also included are congress and festival pamphlets and papers, newspaper clippings and family photographs.

Personal papers, correspondence (incoming and outgoing), financial records, sketchbooks and sketches, newspaper clippings, exhibition catalogues, photographs, artworks. Also some personal papers of Janet Parker.

Papers concerning pre-industrial England compiled for the 1979 "Pre-Industrial England" history class taught by Rod Fisher. Some items vellum.

Includes correspondence, incoming and outgoing, public speeches, letters to the press, election campaign material, press clippings; also material relating to Wilfred Adams Russell, chiefly biographical clippings, and election campaign material. A major correspondent was Colin R. Chapman, P.R. and Research Consultant, who was active in Charles Wilfred Russell's election campaigns, and also in the interests of the Australian Democratic Union, Basic Industries Group, Australian Growers' Wool Marketing Committee, and other pastoral and political groups. The collection includes some bulletins and handout material issued by such groups. Also papers relating to history of Jimbour House, and the Bell family.

This series contains awards and commendations received by Anthony Lawrence including a signed card from the poet Seamus Heaney and the inaugural Judith Wright Calanthe Award

A handwritten note from Seamus Heaney to the author. Dated 2 October 1994. Written on a printed card of Heaney's poem 'Tollund'. One hundred and twenty-five copies of the card were printed privately for Heaney in September 1994.

Folder 8
Judith Wright Calanthe Award for Poetry presented to the author on 13 October 1999 in Brisbane. Awarded for the best published collection of poetry. This is the inaugural Judith Wright Calanthe Award, introduced in 1999 by the Queensland Minister for the Arts.

This series contains photocopies of book review cuttings for Anthony Lawrence's first and only novel In the half light (2000). These cuttings were compiled in 2001 by Pan MacMillan. the publisher of the novel.
