This collection is comprised of correspondence by Dick, Elsie and Lindsay Roughsey; the manuscripts of Dick Roughsey; the manuscripts of Percy Trezise; and 20 original artworks by Goobalathaldin (Dick Roughsey) and Percy Trezise, many of which were proposed illustrations for The rainbow serpent (1979). It includes some explanatory notes by Fedora Fisher.

A collection of 245 political posters. Themes and causes represented include: world peace, anti-uranium mining, Aboriginal land rights/sacred sites, protection of the environment, disarmament (including many 'Hiroshima Day' posters), Greenpeace, FOE (Friends of the Earth), MAUM (Movement Against Uranium Mining), and the alignment of women's groups and churches with these causes. Also present are posters calling for attention to youth and disabled housing, Timorese refugees, prisoners of conscience, and women's rights.

Photocopy of typescript (31 leaves) of the Submission presented by the Queensland Council for the Advancement of Aborigines and Torres Islanders to the Select Committee appointed to examine the Queensland Governments' Aboriginals Preservation and Protection Acts 1939 to 1946. Last page [32] is the Executive Recommendation on Aboriginal People from the ACTU Congress in 1963. Accompanying these is a letter on Queensland Council for the Advancement of Aborigines and Torres Islanders letterhead, signed by Kath Walker as Secretary, with a note: The material in the attached "Submission" is NOT for publication without the written permission of the above Council.

Places featured include: Wallangarra, Stanthorpe, Warwick, Clifton, Toowoomba, Gatton (including Agricultural College), Laidley, Rosewood, Ipswich, central Brisbane, Cleveland, Wynnum, R.N.A. Exhibition Grounds, University of Queensland, Bowen Park (Brisbane), Rosemount Repatriation Hospital, Archerfield Aerodrome, Dalgety's Wharf, and H.M.A.S. Australia on the Brisbane River. Photographs of Archerfield Aerodrome show the Duke dispatching the first airmail of the Australia-Great Britain Service.

Draft typescript article written by Richard Fotheringham for The Australian Literary Review which was published with the title 'Inside the killing fields of Queensland' on October 6, 2010, pp. 12-13. This article was written after the discovery of a memoir by Thomas Davis, father of Arthur Hoey Davis (aka "Steele Rudd"), which discussed massacres of Australian Aborigines in his time of working in Queensland in the 1800s. Fotheringham suggested the name of the manuscript.
