Business and administrative records of The Women's Bookshop, Highgate Hill, Brisbane from its inception in 1984 to its sale in 1998. Includes financial records, promotional material, correspondence, publisher's catalogues, flyers, photographs, posters and ephemera. The poster collection is comprised of 341 posters (which includes 48 screen printed or hand coloured posters plus two copies of a 1993 calendar) which exhibit graphic design history and local / social history from 1984 to 1998.

Papers relating to the Relics Advisory Committee within the Queensland Ministry for Aboriginal and Island Affairs and later within the Archaeology Branch of the Department of Aboriginal and Islanders Advancement. The papers contain correspondence, reports, newspaper cuttings and journal articles relevant to the Committee's decisions under the Aboriginal Relics Preservation Act 1967-1976. In addition the collection includes: notebooks, recordings, videos and photographs related to his linguistic and ethnographic works in Queensland; and papers relating to research, teaching, administrations and applied work (especially native title)..

Material includes: Queensland Labor Womens's History Collection 1890-1900, Queensland Women's Service Collection, Federal Council for Reconciliation - first and second agenda papers 1991-1996, selected issue files (environment and social policy development) 1893-1999, Margaret Reynolds speech files and press release 1983-1999, correspondence with Queensland ministers.

Two hundred and three (203) photographs of Queensland towns from circa 1880s to1890s, and 211 black & white 35mm negative derivatives with 13 proof sheets.

Bennett when compiling the history of her father, Sir Robert Christison, The bound volumes include: newspaper cuttings, extracts of newspaper cuttings, pamphlets, photographs, reprints of articles, and typescripts written by or relating to Sir Robert Christison and the Dalleburra people who lived on the same land. Most of the material covers the period 1870 to 1910.

The collection comprises two bound scrapbooks of records collected by Mary Montgomerie Bennett when compiling the history of her father, Sir Robert Christison; correspondence; and glass plate negatives. The bound volumes include: newspaper cuttings, extracts of newspaper cuttings, pamphlets, photographs, reprints of articles, and typescripts written by or relating to Sir Robert Christison and the Dalleburra people who lived on the same land. Most of the material covers the period 1870 to 1910. The correspondence is that received by Mrs Bennet regarding her book Christison of Lammermoor.
