From 1964 - 1966 Pavlyshyn formed a partnership with Hugh Beck to work on the General Motors Holden complex in Acacia Ridge.

Pavlyshyn's joining the planning team, the layout of the Assembly Building had been determined and the steel frame structure was built under a separate contract.
