The bulk of the letters were written in the 1950's and 1960's. In all there are over 1700 items. Attached: copies of extracts from Brennan's previous application for the Chair of Classics, with testamonials from referees.
Also notice of motion of Senate meeting to consider the lectureship appointment.
Includes correspondence between Cecil Hadgraft and Zelman Cowen re the documents, reviews of French poetry by Christopher Brennan, and a copy of an unpublished poem by Christopher Brennan.

Photographs, biographical notes, collected correspondence, poems, addresses, newspaper articles, and reports related to Edward Harold Fulcher Swain's career as a forester. Includes letters written by Harold Swain to Jules Tardent, and Jules and Myrle Tardent; typescript copies, made by Nancy Foote (daughter of Swain), of newspaper articles, correspondence, articles, and diary entries, by or relating to Swain are in this collection. Nancy Foote typed these from the originals in 1970 to 1971 and provided copies to 'Mr Tardent' (Jules Tardent). Jules Tardent and Swain worked in the forestry industry.
