Letter deals with the author's visits to the UQ campus in 1952-53, and encloses an extract from a wartime diary and a poem referring to the terrorist attack on the London underground of 2005. Includes Vice-Chancellor's reply (1 p.; 2005 Sep 6).

Paper, 16 pages, by Kerry Heckenberg, presented as a Research Seminar in the School of English, Media Studies and Art History at the University of Queensland, 31 July 2009. Discusses in detail the mural works of Don Cowen and Quentin Hole in the former University of Queensland Geology Museum, Richards Building, and their relevance as art works based on scientific knowledge of the day. Contents include a copy of the paper presented and a printout of the PowerPoint presentation, 34 pages.

Photographs of storm damage and fallen trees at The University of Queensland St Lucia campus. On 27 November 2014 Brisbane experienced an extreme storm event which significantly damaged the central business district and many inner suburbs, including St Lucia. Angela Hannan, a librarian at the University of Queensland Library, took photographs of the campus the day after the event.
