Invitation by the Royal Geographical Society of Australasia (Queensland) to attend a talk on Tuesday 29 September 1942 in the the University Lecture Hall, George Street at 8pm by Rev. Father Leo Hayes speak on "Bits of Queensland ..."; on reverse is written "Mrs. E.M. Hayes and friends".

Thomson Gold Medal and the Diploma (Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society) from Sir James Blair, Chancellor of Brisbane University, 22 Apr 1942." and "The man sitting down is Mr R. G.
