The front of the newsletter describes it as "March, 1986 edition, Newsletter No 21, Registered Publication No. QBH 37509". The front page is a full-page hand drawing of a waterhole surrounded by trees with mountains in the distance, and various native fauna, with text superimposed over it. It has a sticker with the direction "Trades and Labour Council of Qld" and the name of the General Secretary and mailing address. The articles describe various locations in Australia and give updates on the activity concerning them, whether deemed to be harmful or not to the environment.

Pamphlet, folded to make three columns per page, printed in green ink on cream paper. "This pamphlet outlines the full costs of rainforest logging, lists rainforest timbers and their alternatives and how you can help end rainforest logging". Produced by the Rain Forest Timbers Campaign, the Rainforest Information Centre.

Information flier giving an account of two meetings recently held in Yokohama, Japan, in March 1987. One was the "International Rainforest Conference", populated by representatives from non-government organisations, meeting to discuss the impact of the destruction of tropical rainforests. The second was the International Tropical Timber Council's first meeting at its new headquarters, which was populated by representatives both from governments and non-government organisations from the countries which were signatories to the International Tropical Timber Agreement. The author, Nodi Mather, represented the Rainforest Information Centre, Australian Conservation Foundation, Nature Conservation Council of New South Wales, Earth Repair Foundation and Greenpeace. Printed in black ink on cream paper, with hand drawings in the corners of the first page.

Flier, advertising a public forum to be held on Monday 22 November, 2010, in the Abel Smith Lecture Theatre at the University of Queensland. It is on the subject of coal seam gas and its implications for agricultural land. Speakers and panelists include Ian Lowe, Clive Bell, John Standley amd John Hillier. Sponsors include Friends of the Earth Brisbane, Queensland Conservation, Six Degrees Coal & Climate Campaign, Greenpeace, Australian Society of Soil Science Inc, World Wildlife Fund, Agforce, and UQ Climate for Change. Most of the page has a coloured background picture of an industrial complex.

A postcard with with supplementary information on rainforests and the threats to their preservation on a card extension, with a line of perforation between the two so that the postcard section can be detached. The cover picture on the postcard is of ferns with the line "Rescue the rainforests", and when folded, the edge of the extension adds "Write now!", in italics, to this line. The postcard is addressed to the "Mr Joh Bjelke-Petersen, Premier of Queensland", and the photograph is credited to Colin Totterdall. There is space for a personal message, and a square on the top right-hand corner for a stamp to be added.

Brochure on the condition of the Daintree area in North Queensland, and a proposal to expand the area which has National Park status. It includes coloured photographs of the area and local fauna, and a map showing existing and proposed National Park boundaries. The far right quarter has a vertical dotted line to indicate that it should be detached, and spaces for a person to fill in personal information and donation pledges and return to the Australian Conservation Foundation.

On the exterior, one side has "Write for the forest", with a coloured photograph of a forest creek, while the other has "Write now" in red lettering across a black and white photograph of partially cleared land. The interior holds information as to why the Australian Conservation Foundation are asking for members of the public to write to the Minister for Primary Industry, the Minister for the Environment, and the Prime Minister, and what they would like the letters to say.

Postcard; the picture on the front is of Salt Lake, Great Victorian Desert, WA, credited to Ted Mead. It has the text "Vote environment today : save Australia tomorrow" across it. The back is self-addressed to Australian Conservation Foundation, and has the text of a "Save Australia" pledge on the left side, with space to be signed by a local Member of Parliament. There is a square on the upper right corner to attach a stamp to.
