Cicero' was a three-masted iron ship built in 1861 by Thomas Vernon & Son, Liverpool.

Included in diary are transcriptions by Emma of her brother's diary of a voyage from Ireland to Queensland in the ship Sir William Wallace, June-Sept 1882, and another diary written by her other brother Fred W.
