This file consists of three items:

1. A Collins Australian Diary for 1959 with 11 pages of newspaper cuttings regarding Kath Walker's activities in promoting Aboriginal rights (rest of diary is empty) from 1961 - 1972.
2. A photograph album (half full) of newspaper cuttings regarding Kath Walker's activities in promoting Aboriginal rights, with one article about her son Vivian Walker (1971). Articles are either dated 1966 or 1971
3. One photograph album with six pages of newspaper cuttings regarding Oodgeroo's activities in promoting Aboriginal rights, 1961 - 1967

This ephemera collection contains reports, promotional material, submissions, circulars, publicity leaflets, correspondence and information for members of the council

"A statement issued by the Federal Council for the Advancement of Aborigines and Torres Strait Islanders and the Abschol Department of the National Union of Australian University Students." It deals with what is being sought, why, who is instigating the campaign, and answers some additional questions about consequences.

Introduction and, Fact Sheets 1-7. Its stated purpose to provide useful material for campaign workers, to cover a variety of speaking and writing situations and audiences. Topics covered include Aboriginal social conditions, international standards and precedents, support in Australia through colonial and commonwealth history, and rebuttals for possible objections from pastoralists and mining companies.

One page leaflet for the "Vote YES for Aboriginal rights Referendum day May 27", with a call for donations for the campaign.

Two page leaflet supporting the Yes vote in the 1967 Referendum to amend the constitution to include Aboriginal people in the census and allow the Federal government to create laws for them. The leaflet was "authorised by Mrs. Kath Walker, Qld. Secretary, Federal Council for Advancement of Aborigines and Torres Strait Islanders (FCAA) and Secretary, Qld. Council for the Advancement of Aborigines and Torres Islanders (QCAATI)."
