Three travel journals handwritten by John Ernest Greenham from Ipswich, Queensland from 1895 to 1917.

Volume One has the title on the first page of the diary: 'Impressions of a Colonial : to be read without criticism'. This diary is of his voyage from Ipswich to London via Colombo and Suez Canal aboard the H.M.S. Ophir, from 20 March to 7 May 1895. Records his impressions of the cities of Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart and Adelaide during the voyage. On cover on bound volume: Students notebook; 70 leaves ; 21 cm.

Volume Two has the title on the first page of the diary: 'Another innocent very much abroad : not to be read critically'. This diary is of his travels from London to Naples.
