Brief: Design and documentation of a three storey, beachfront complex of two x three bed apartments plus roof garden and basement. This was to be on the last undeveloped beach house site on Main Beach Parade. It was not built. Project number 814.83. Working drawings numbered: WD.01 to WD.08; WD.13 to WD.14; and WD27 to WD.28. Dated 10 Mar 1989 to 28 Aug 1989.

From the Title Block: The Heather Thiedeke Group, architects and planners. Clients: Michael Edgely; Terry Page; Fultonborough Pty Ltd. . Brief: A beach house capable of entertaining visiting international cultural groups, especially the Moscow Circus and Russian Ballet. The inspiration for the design was primarily the sand castle. A sculptured form reflecting the contours of the beach landscape. The brief required the maximum utilisation of available site area, hence the 'box' configuration. It had a variety of owners and international celebrity guests in its 27-year lifespan. It was demolished in the last 2010s. Various Project numbers: 811-161, 811-224, 811-225. Twelve ink line drawings on tracing paper. From the Title Block: The Heather Thiedeke Group, architects and planners. Client: Catholic Parish of Surfers Paradise. The brief: master plan, design and documents. The Parish moved from central Surfers Paradise to Broadbeach Waters to accommodate future expansion. The church plan incorporated a radial layout with a sloping floor for optimum visibility and engagement. Includes sketch, working and marketing drawings for site plans, elevations, roof plans, landscaping, and site work.

The collection has 474 architectural drawings by Graeme Thiedeke from his time working as a student in the 1960s, to his work in Canada, Mexico, Malayasia, United Arab Emirates and Australia. Thiedeke has provided details for most of these plans which includes the name of the client, the brief from the client and historical information about the building. There are supplementary documents to the jobs Graeme Thiedeke worked on, which includes drawings, articles, presentation sets, architectural plans, photographs of architectural plans and photographs. Thiedeke has been writing while working as an architect and there sample of books created by him. The topics are far ranging and include philosophy, poetry, short stories, and various architectural projects.

Brisbane

Poster, designed as a street guide for students attending the Sixth Australian Architecture Students Conference in Brisbane from 20 to 27 May in 1967. The guide was put together by Doug McKay with the help of Don Watson. It has 57 architectural places to see when in Brisbane for the conference. The 57 sites are numbered on the front of the poster, with some grouped by location. The front is a street map of Brisbane city. On the reverse are the names of the buildings (grouped by location) with pictures of some of these buildings. On the reverse there is incorrect or fake information about some of the locations.
