Copy 1: Typescript; loosely bound with paper covers and coming apart; six leaves of excerpts copied from newspaper reviews dated 1936 or 1947; foreword; and list of cast members for the extended season at the Independent Theatre in September 1947. Biographical and illustrative material from the 21st issue of Drama and the school, inserted in introductory pages which includes: three pages of a biography of Max Afford, two pages of music notation and two pages of costume designs by Thelma Afford. Awake my love, is rewritten from: Colonel Light the founder, South Australian Centenary Prize-winning play, 1936.

Typescript of the stage play in three acts. Awake my love, is rewritten from: Colonel Light the founder, South Australian Centenary Prize-winning play, 1936. This typescript is for the performance of the radio play. It includes the names of the actors for each role; includes handwritten emendation "The play produced by Miss Doris Fitton"; as well as emendations in the text. Newspaper cutting 'Drama of S. Aust. is retold in radio writer's play' from The Sun, 7 Aug 1947, p. 6 pasted to initial page. Includes reviews from newspapers (2 leaves), and a foreword dated 1947 (3 leaves).
