Location: Cnr Cotlew and Currumburra Roads, Ashmore, Gold Coast. Architects from Title Block: Davis Heather Group. Client: Alfred's Close Pty Ltd. Brief: Design documentation and construction of the first approval under new laws for 'taverns' rather than pubs. This design was inspired by a 19th century sawmill that once occupied the site. Dated 1984

Canadian National Pavilion for World's Fair, Osaka, Japan

Eleven architectural drawings (ink line drawings on paper) stapled together as one volume. Title Block: Erickson Massey Architects. Client: Canadian Government. Brief: To present Canada to the world at Expo '70 [Expo (International Exhibitions Bureau) (1970 : Osaka, Japan)]. Thiedeke worked with Arthur Erickson, one of Canada's most prestigious architects, in the concept design phase of the project. Thiedeke described himself as the pencil to Erickson's mind and hand. Job no. 6703. 9 drawings have title block. Dated Mar to May 1968. All plans stapled together (staples removed).

'Chirimia : a Mexican allegory'

This story is set in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico sometime in the 1970's. It was written for film, but never eventuated. Volume 77 of the series Landscape of Memories written by Thiedeke in 2019. Illustrated by Nicholas Schlee.

Duplex units, Hope Island, Gold Coast

Client: Gold course developer. Brief: Concept designs for luxury two bed, two car, two storey duplex villas for a golfing resort; the architecture was to have a 'post modern, Australian classic' character. The Champion's retreat design was based on a cluster of six villas with entries focused on a vehicular courtyard and an arbour over the front entry. No title block.

Brief: Design a 'Disney' experience for the whole family with an underlying story to be discovered as part of the experience. Funding was not available (including Architects fees). Not built.
