Twelve working drawings (71 x 100 cm.), ink line drawings on tracing paper. From the Title Block: The Heather Thiedeke Group, architects and planners. Client: Brendan Edwards. Brief: Design and documentation of a three storey, beachfront complex of two x three bed apartments plus roof garden and basement. This was to be on the last undeveloped beach house site on Main Beach Parade. It was not built. Project number 814.83. Working drawings numbered: WD.01 to WD.08; WD.13 to WD.14; and WD27 to WD.28. Dated 10 Mar 1989 to 28 Aug 1989.

Tanglewood Gold resort, Bogangar, New South Wales

Client: Private developer. Brief: Design documentation and construction of -- Golf course and clubhouse, village centre, hotel, tennis club, children's resort, equine centre, detached unit clusters and a wedding chapel. The site was 60 ha. of rolling hills, forest and flood plain. For economic reasons the project stalled and the site was sold. Comprises one roll of 38 drawings from 1989 and another roll of 21 drawings from 1990.

Sugartown, Condong, Murwillumbah, New South Wales

Five architectural drawings (ink line drawings on tracing paper), varying sizes. No Title Block. One drawing of the railway line from Murwillumba to Condong, (ink line drawing on pieces of paper, approx 42 x 29 cm, sticky taped together totalling 42 x 4600 cm). Client: Private consortium. Brief: Concept for a tourist destination sugar mill experience, with an emphasis on the history of steam power and an economic boost to the area; as well as education on the principles and creation of a sustainable future in a fluctuating sugar market. The mill site was to be expanded to include a small village with a focus on tourism, retail, working steam museum, river tours and refurbishment of the abandoned short rail line to Murwillumbah.

St. Vincents Church, Surfers Paradise

Comprises: Thirteen pencil line drawings on tracing paper, 26 x 36 cm and smaller, undated. Eight pencil/ink line drawings on tracing paper, 59 x 84 cm, 1985-1986, from the Title Block the architect and planners are the Heather Thiedeke Group, and the client is the Catholic Parish, Surfers Paradise. Seventeen ink line drawings on tracing paper, from the Title Block the architect and planners are the Heather Thiedeke Group, client is the Catholic Parish, Surfers Paradise.

Brief: Design and Documentation. The original St. Vincents church in Surfers Paradise was demolished when the main Parish church moved to Broadbeach Waters and became The Sacred Heart Church. A new St. Vincents church retained the inner city presence. It was built to a tight budget and severe site restrictions (ambient noise management). The structure used tilt panel walls (then a new technology). This plan also featured a radial layout with a sloping floor for optimum visibility.

Includes: Project no. 63.06, working drawings, sequentially numbered WD.01 to WD.013 and WD.18, for landscaping, floor plan, roof plan, details, sections, elevations, internal elevation, window schedule and furniture details.

St. Kevins Primary School, Benowa, Gold Coast

Nine pencil or ink line drawings on tracing paper. From the Title Block: The Heather Thiedeke Group, architects and planners. Client: Catholic Parish, Surfers Paradise. Brief: Master plan, design and documentation. The environmentally sensitive school master plan (not common on the Gold Coast at the time) received a civic design and architectural awards for the sustainable qualities. Almost every tree on the site was preserved. Includes: schematic designs and working drawings for Stage 4 and Stage 5; 1982 to 1985.

Southport Spit Study, Gold Coast

Project no. 06.83 Philip Park. One cover sheet + 5 architectural drawings (Master plans). From the Title Block: The Heather Thiedeke Group, architects and planners. Client: Gold Coast City Council. Brief: Provide local councillor Athol Patterson with a master plan to settle divergent opinions on the future of the Spit. The proposal established an ocean parkland with controlled public access to a series of beaches, picnic areas and local carparking, health and exercise zones were connected by a pathway for pedestrians and separate bike ways. The length of the path was divided into modules of a marathon course. Commercial zones were restricted to the existing areas of development at the southern end of the Spit.

Project no. 06.82 Nerang River Entrace Landscaping. One cover sheet + 4 architectural drawings (Schematic designs). From the Title Block: The Heather Thiedeke Group, architects and planners. Client: Gold Coast Waterways Authority. Designs for the North end entrance.

Riverland Residence, Maryland Avenue, Carrara, Gold Coast

This file comprises two sets of plans for the residence at [2] Mayland Avenue, Carrara, Gold Coast. The residence was originally for clients Mr. and Mrs K Breen. Project no. 8111.89. The architects, from the title block were the Davis Heather Group. The brief: Design, documents for construction; formal facade to the street, informal to the river, classical interior. All internal rooms are accessed from a semicircular atrium / courtyard, which opens to the rear garden, tennis court and jetty through large sliding doors. There are 28 working drawings, four preliminary sketch plans and five design development drawings. All are dated 1981.

Michael Edgley bought the house from the Breens and there are three sketches for an extension to the house, dated 1985. The house was sold to an art union and bought by a reired developer.

Won a design award 1986.

Five drawings (ink line drawings on tracing paper). Client: United Arab Emirates entrepreneur. Brief: A master plan and design of hotel central facilities and accommodation. No formal title block. Titles written on plans are: 3 Bridges Hotel (Competition, won by Thiedeke), Redevelopment, Hotel Abu Dhabi, Hotel-Ras Al Khaimah (Remote Mountain Retreat), and Resort City - Fujairah (on the Gulf of Oman; part of a large redevelopment strategy by the emirate).
