Thirty nine letters to Caroline Kelly from Margaret Mead, dated from 1928 to 1959; no correspondence dated between April 1931 and September 1947; three of the letters have undetermined date. Five telegrams, three from 1929, one from 1945, one from 1959. One roneoed letter from Cathy Bateson (daughter of Margaret Mead), 18 Sep 1956. Three original typescript copies of an introductory letter by Margaret Mead for Caroline Kelly to 'Administrative Officials', March 1951. One carbon copy typescript of a letter from Margaret Mean to an unidentified recipient, undated. Two typescript letters regarding Clarice McNamara, 5 and 19 June, 1951. Four receipts for deposits to Margaret Mead with two of the envelopes addressd to both M.M. Bateson/Mean and C/F.T. Kelly, 1952-1953, undated. A roneoed copy of an 'AIE Bulletin' no. 2, 1953, written by Margaret Mead while in Papua and New Guinea, 5 leaves.
