Each photograph has a handwritten caption giving the date. First photograph shows initial stages of construction (February 1925). Final photograph shows completed building (April 1930). Inside cover page contains handwritten inscription : B. Mobsby, 8.11.30, Station Rd., Indooroopilly, Queensland.

Daphne Mayo's Sydney Studio at 231 George Street was reclaimed by the Sydney Cove Development Authority in 1981. Queensland Trustees Limited, who had power of attorney for Mayo, engaged Judith McKay to direct the sorting and dispersal of the Sydney Studio from 29 June to 8 July 1981. Mayo had been a tenant of the building since 1940 and retained this studio after her move back to Brisbane. She was the last tenant to leave the building. This album is volume two of a two volume set of photograph albums complied by Judith McKay detailing the contents of the studio and the packing of contents. Life sized portrait bust of Vida Lahey in plaster, painted brown. Lahey is wearing a tied scarf. Not signed or dated. Vida Lahey visited Mayo at her Sydney Studio in George Street in late 1957 when sittings were made.

Portrait bust of female to waist, long hair tied in a bun at the base of her neck, without arms. Cracked. Possbily the work of Daphne Mayo; found in the conservation unit in February 2001.
