Biographical history

Born in Launceston, Tasmania on 29 September 1934. As a playwright he has written And the Big Men Fly, Private Yyk Objects and mucisal biographies. He has written for film and television including Alvin Purple, Neighbours and Prisoner. His cinema credits include: My Brillian Career, The Blue Lagoon, The Man from Snowy River II and more. He tours giving talks on men's health. In 2005 he was awarded the A.M. (Member of the Order of Australia) for his services to the performing arts and to the community through raising awareness of men's health issues.
