Biographical history
Donna Abela is an Australian playwright, teacher, producer and director. She has published over 30 original and adapted plays, including Jump for Jordan, which won the Griffin Playwriting Award in 2013 and the AWGIE Award for Stage in 2015. She has taught scriptwriting at the University of Wollongong and at Excelsia College (formerly Wesley Institute), and runs workshops and short writing courses for many community groups, schools, and theatre companies.
