Objectives - To oppose proposed Queensland legislation to further restrict availability of abortions (1979, 1980). Demands - repeal all abortion laws; free, safe abortion, contraception, and sterilization on demand; no forced sterilization; an end to 'conscience' vote provisions in party policies.

Notes: Formed by a coalition of women's groups including Children by Choice, Pregnancy Control, A.L.P. Women, Women's Abortion Action Campaign, the Australian Union of Students Women's Department and individuals. Formed a liaison committee with Working Women's Charter Committee to obtain trade union support. The campaign was active in Townsville, Toowoomba, Ipswich and Brisbane.
