University of Queensland D. L. P. Club (1964-196?). Previously the University of Queensland Queensland Labor Party Club.
Objectives - To advance the aims of the Democratic Labor Party on the campus. To oppose both totalitarianism and unbridled capitalism.
Publicists - Chris Cook, Tony Cook, Tony Crosby, Llew Davies, Phil Lawler, David Lewis, Kerry O'Regan, John Tracey, Marie Whitehouse.
Notes: The Q.L.P. Club was formed in 1960 and became defunct in 1963. The Q.L.P. was absorbed by the D.L.P. in 1962. When the club was revived in 1964 it was as the D.L.P. Club. The club was affiliated with the D.L.P. through its youth association. The D.L.P. dissolved in 1977.
