Objectives - To organize a counter-cultural tent community at the University of Queensland with entertainment, films, workshops and debate on the Vietnam war and other issues. Notes: The People's Park Committee was associated with the Campus Moratorium Committee. The People's Park during the first moratorium (May 1970) was held in the Great Court. The People's Park during the September 1970 moratorium was forced to move to a site near the University Lake.
